Please read this before you click delete!!! I posted this before...this is the dog where the 10 yr old boy sobbed and walked dog to shelter because father was going to KILL her because she kept getting loose. She was chained her whole life, found a foster but there is a pit bull ban in that area and Molly is back at shelter. Transport is available. Lets get Molly a home for Christmas!
Molly is extremely depressed in the shelter. There have been no offers of rescue on her, and we have been pleading for help to come since June. She does not look very pittie to me but, I can't argue with the dog warden about it.
Please, help Molly get back into a home, or even a FOSTER home before her sadness takes over her mind. I see all kinds of other dogs get their happy ending so let's PLEASE try for Molly's sake.

This wonderful girl is Molly. She needs to find her forever home. She came to the Owen County shelter on June 29th. Molly’s young owner walked her to the shelter and begged us to take Molly before his step-dad shot Molly for breaking her chain. She had lived her short life (10-11 months) confined to the back yard in a subdivision, and tied by a chain. She apparently did not like being chained up, and repeatedly broke free.. Luckily, Molly loves everyone, so she never caused any problems as she roamed the neighborhood visiting.
Molly was fortunate enough to be taken into foster care for 2 months. Unfortunately, the foster was unaware of the Pit Bull mix ban in her city, and had to return Molly to the shelter this past Saturday. I can only imagine what Molly may have thought -abandoned once again.
Molly is great with other dogs and kids. I would have no qualms at all about allowing her to be around my 4 year old son; except to protect her from his roughness! She is housetrained, and now has manners thanks to her foster’s hard work.
Molly is spayed and UTD on shots. She will make someone a devoted companion.
If you can give this deserving, loving girl a forever home, please call Hilari at: 502-514-1539.
The goal is to get Molly into a loving, forever home BEFORE Christmas.
